Reduction in PAN (Published Admission Numbers)
Hillside Infant School Admissions Arrangements - for Reception 2023-2024
As set out in the School Admissions Code, Admission authorities must set (‘determine’) admission arrangements annually. Where changes are proposed to admission arrangements, the admission authority must first publicly consult on those arrangements. Consultation must be for a minimum of 6 weeks and must take place between 1st October and 31st January of the school year before those arrangements are to apply.
As a Foundation school, Hillside Infant School is the admissions authority and will be consulting for 6 weeks from Friday 3rd November until Friday 17th December 2021 (Midday) for changes to the admission criteria to be implemented for admission from September 2023.
You can access the Determined Admission Arrangements 2023-2024 for Hillside Infant School for 2023/2024 on the school website – email@example.com
Summary of proposed changes:
Reduction of Published Admissions Numbers
All maintained schools have a published admissions number in accordance with the School Admissions Code 2021. This is the number of school places that the admission authority must offer in each relevant age group of a school for which it is the admission authority.
Hillside Infant School is consulting to reduce the Published Admission Number from 90 to 60, reducing the distance priority radius from 1000m to 750m.
