On Wednesday 11^th February 2026, Year 2 will be taking a trip to The Living Rainforest in Berkshire. The trip will support their science topic of ‘Animals and living things’.  

The total cost for the trip will be £24.25. Please make payment of £24.25 via Arbor App and give consent by 5^th February 2026. There is an option to pay for the trip in small instalments. To do this please make regular payments on Arbor of a minimum £4 each time.  The final payment needs to be completed before 5^th February 2026.

We will travel by coach to The Living Rainforest leaving school by 9:15am. We will return to school before the end of the day at 3:15pm. If your child suffers with travel sickness, please ensure they receive the correct medication in the morning. If a further tablet is to be taken before the return journey please send this into school clearly marked with your child’s name, for the attention of Mrs Maclachlan.

Children are to wear full school uniform and must bring a packed lunch with water in a named carrier bag or small rucksack.  An optional lunch can be provided for your child if required. The link will be sent closer to the date. The options are a cheese or ham sandwich.
