Nursery and Reception parent – My children joined Hillside this academic year and from the very first phone call enquiring about an in-term admission space, the office staff were incredibly warm, welcoming and helpful. That first impression really stayed with me. Since starting, the support for both me as a parent and for my two children has been wonderful. The staff truly know the children as individuals, they greet them by name, they are kind, attentive and genuinely caring. Something that is rare in many London schools. My son wasn’t happy at his previous school, so I was naturally anxious about another transition. However, despite joining mid-term, he settled in so quickly. He made friends with ease and his teachers took the time to really get to know him and understand his personality and needs. And my daughter absolutely loves coming to school everyday which is also something that she hasn’t experienced before. I also really value how Hillside involves parents. The regular assemblies and events create such a welcoming atmosphere and allow us to see our children learning and thriving. It makes us as parents feel included in our children’s journey rather than separate from it. The school is so committed to nurturing each child according to their individual level. They consistently go above and beyond to ensure the children are happy, supported and encouraged to reach their potential. Thank you Hillside for everything you do, it doesn’t go unnoticed. 

Katie - Freddies' mum Year 1 – Hillside Infant School is a wonderful school where my son has grown and developed tremendously over the past few years. The staff have not only brought out the very best in him but have also been incredibly supportive of us as parents throughout his journey.

The school is well-organised, communication between teachers and parents is excellent, and we always feel informed and involved. We love the weekly newsletter! We are also very grateful for the range of extra activities offered to all year groups, which further enrich the children’s experience.

The school trips are very educational and inclusive of all cultures and the head mistress in particular is one of the best.
