Nursery and Reception parent – My children joined Hillside this academic year and from the very first phone call enquiring about an in-term admission space, the office staff were incredibly warm, welcoming and helpful. That first impression really stayed with me. Since starting, the support for both me as a parent and for my two children has been wonderful. The staff truly know the children as individuals, they greet them by name, they are kind, attentive and genuinely caring. Something that is rare in many London schools. My son wasn’t happy at his previous school, so I was naturally anxious about another transition. However, despite joining mid-term, he settled in so quickly. He made friends with ease and his teachers took the time to really get to know him and understand his personality and needs. And my daughter absolutely loves coming to school everyday which is also something that she hasn’t experienced before. I also really value how Hillside involves parents. The regular assemblies and events create such a welcoming atmosphere and allow us to see our children learning and thriving. It makes us as parents feel included in our children’s journey rather than separate from it. The school is so committed to nurturing each child according to their individual level.
