Every Friday afternoon, the whole school comes together for fun singing assemblies, with a new musical theme each term. Children begin with playful vocal warm-ups, like tongue twisters and call-and-response games, to get their voices ready. Over the weeks, they learn songs as a whole school and in their year groups, including special songs for Harvest, Springtime, Summer, and uplifting, empowering songs that help them feel proud and confident. At the end of each term, they perform these songs, celebrating everything they have learnt. Singing assemblies help children work together, make friends, and enjoy joyful musical moments as a whole school community.
